Taking it apart

Today at work I had to start the repair work on this For Mustang Convertible of 1966.

On the outside the car is looking great, nice paintwork, strong engine and gearbox, etc...
On the Underside and Inside the car it's a different story.
I'll let the pictures speak for itself.

It's my job to repair this by installing a new floor pan with the least possible need to do paint job on the outside.

So the first thing I did is take the interior apart. Disassembling everything what could possibly in the way for welding.
Disassembling will also reveal all the work that need to be done.
I started with the removal of the front seats
 The door trim
 The back seat
 The front panel with speakers
The first part of the floor mat
The rear speakers and panel and the back carpet.
Here is a view off all the parts that came out of the car.
And now the sound deadening has to come out.

It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.
And that's it for today.
