Tweaking the gaps

Today I started with the fitment of the body parts.

First i started with the drivers side. Behind the door just above the rocker panel The gap  was wider then on the rest of the door. so I welded a small bead along the seem to correct it.

 At the front of the door The fender showed a straight line instead of a small curve. It's hard to see on the picture below.

 At the top od the fender the edge of the door is nearly touching the fender.

 So I made some small corrections, a little grinding and welding and some more grinding and voila.

 The same for the curve.

 And now the fitment is perfect.

 At the passenger side the rocker panel was to low according the line of the door and fender.  Along the edge I welded a bead to correct it. The rest will be filled in to even the difference out.
